1. Introduction

Welcome to TIA Rental, your go-to choice for reliable and convenient car rentals. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Rental Agreement

Upon renting a vehicle from TIA Rental, you are required to present a valid ID card and a driver’s license. These documents are necessary to complete the rental agreement and must be presented at the time of vehicle pick-up.

3.Reservation Policy

• After the customer complete the reservation from our website, the customer must wait up to 12 hours to receive the confirmation from our company.

•  The customer can cancel the reservation for free up to 1 day before.

4. Payment and Fees

The total rental fee is calculated based on the rental period specified in the rental agreement. Please note:

– The rental fee is non-refundable, even if the vehicle is returned prior to the end of the rental period.
– We do not require a credit card or deposit for renting a vehicle. However, full payment is required at the time of vehicle pick-up.

5. Insurance Options

We offer three levels of insurance coverage for your peace of mind during the rental period:

• **Basic Insurance:**  Covers standard liability and property damage to third parties. This is included in your rental fee.

• **Protective Insurance:** Covers the costumer 80% , for all damages that the car can cause: external damage to the car, fire and theft. For any damage to the car, the customer is obliged to pay 20% of the total value of the damage. This insurance covers the costumer travel only on paved public roads. This insurance doesn’t cover if the customer drive off road and also this insurance doesn’t cover Tires and Under-damages.

• **Super Protective Insurance:** covers the costumer 100% , for all damages that the car can cause: external damage to the car, fire and theft. This insurance covers the costumer travel only on paved public roads. This insurance doesn’t cover if the customer drive off road and also this insurance doesn’t cover Tires and Under-damages.

Please select your preferred insurance option at the time of booking. Additional charges apply for Protective and Super Protective Insurance options.

6. Traffic Fines and Violations

Responsibility for traffic fines and violations lies solely with the renter. Any fines incurred during the rental period must be paid by the renter. TIA Rental reserves the right to charge the renter for any traffic fines received after the rental period has ended, as well as an administrative fee for processing these fines.

7. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

The rented vehicle must be operated in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The vehicle should not be used for illegal purposes, racing, or off-road driving. The renter agrees to be solely responsible for any damages or losses resulting from the violation of this provision. The car should not be used on off-roads.  Even the Super Protective insurance it’s for driving on paved roads only. It doesn’t cover you if you go off-road, nor for damage to tires or the car’s underside.

8. Return of Vehicle

The vehicle must be returned on the date, time and at the location specified in the rental agreement. Late returns may incur additional charges i.e the price for the next day.

THE DRIVER SHOULD DROP OFF THE CAR WASHED , OTHERWISE WILL PAY 10 Euro .

9. Crossing Border

• TIA Rental Company allow to cross the border only to these selected countries (Kosovo , North Macedonia, Montenegro and Corfu by ferry). Crossing other countries are not allowed .

• Crossing border is with extra fee : 50 Euro / each border .

• Green Card it’s not Included !

10. Age policy 

The driver must have at least 1 year of experience. 

11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

TIA Rental reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notification to you.

12. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of ALBANIA.
