1. Introduction

Welcome to TIA Rental, your go-to choice for reliable and convenient car rentals. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Rental Agreement

Upon renting a vehicle from TIA Rental, you are required to present a valid ID card and a driver’s license. These documents are necessary to complete the rental agreement and must be presented at the time of vehicle pick-up.

3.Reservation Policy

• After the customer complete the reservation from our website, the customer must wait up to 12 hours to receive the confirmation from our company.

•  The customer can cancel the reservation for free up to 1 day before.

4. Payment and Fees

The total rental fee is calculated based on the rental period specified in the rental agreement. Please note:

– The rental fee is non-refundable, even if the vehicle is returned prior to the end of the rental period.
– We do not require a credit card or deposit for renting a vehicle. However, full payment is required at the time of vehicle pick-up.

5. Insurance Options

We offer three levels of insurance coverage for your peace of mind during the rental period:

a) Basic Protection 

Basic Protection is the standard insurance included in your rental. It provides Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) with theft protection, covering liability towards third parties.

What is covered:
✅ Third-party damages – If you cause an accident, this insurance covers the other vehicle (third party) and any related damages.
✅ Theft protection – Covers the vehicle in case of theft.

Customer Responsibility:
❗ If you are at fault in an accident, you are responsible for all damages to the rented vehicle.
❗ If you are NOT at fault, and you provide a valid police report proving it, you will not pay anything.

Important Conditions:
⚠️ Parking damages (e.g. scratches) with unknown responsible party are paid by the customer.
⚠️ Driving under the influence of alcohol voids all insurance coverage. Even if you are not at fault, you are fully responsible for all damages.
⚠️ Off-road driving is strictly prohibited. Any damage caused while driving off paved public roads is not covered and will be fully charged to the customer. This is considered negligence and is not supported by Albanian insurance regulations.

Deposit Requirement:
💳 No deposit required (0€)

b) Comfort Protection

Comfort Protection is designed for a worry-free experience, covering almost all common risks during your rental.

What is covered:
✅ Full accident coverage – Even if you are at fault, you pay nothing
✅ Parking damages – Scratches or dents, even if the responsible party is unknown
✅ Theft protection – Covers vehicle theft
✅ Fire damage
✅ Glass & mirrors – Windshield, windows, and mirrors
✅ General body damage – Scratches, dents, and other exterior damages

Customer Responsibility:
❗ You pay nothing for covered damages, as long as all terms are respected.

Not Covered:
❌ Tire damages
❌ Damage to the underbody of the vehicle

Important Conditions:
⚠️ Driving under the influence of alcohol voids all coverage. In such cases, the customer is fully responsible for all damages.
⚠️ Off-road driving is strictly prohibited. Any damage caused while driving on unpaved or off-road terrain is not covered by any insurance and will be fully charged to the customer. This is considered negligence under Albanian insurance laws.

💳 No deposit required (0€)

c) Full Protection

Full Protection offers the highest level of coverage, giving you total peace of mind during your rental. It includes everything from Comfort Protection, with additional coverage for parts usually excluded.

What is covered:
✅ Full accident coverage – Even if you are at fault, you pay nothing
✅ Parking damages – Scratches or dents, even if the responsible party is unknown
✅ Theft protection – Covers vehicle theft
✅ Fire damage
✅ Glass & mirrors – Windshield, windows, and mirrors
✅ General body damage – Scratches, dents, and exterior damage
✅ Tire damage – Fully covered
✅ Underbody damage – Fully covered

Customer Responsibility:

8. Return of Vehicle

The vehicle must be returned on the date, time and at the location specified in the rental agreement. Late returns may incur additional charges i.e the price for the next day.

THE DRIVER SHOULD DROP OFF THE CAR WASHED , OTHERWISE WILL PAY 10 Euro .

9. Crossing Border

• TIA Rental Company allow to cross the border only to these selected countries (Kosovo , North Macedonia, Montenegro . Crossing other countries are not allowed .

• Crossing border is with extra fee : 50 Euro / each border .

• Green Card it’s not Included !

10. Rental Conditions

• If you want to extend your hire period, you must inform the rental agent in advance.
• You must return your rental car with the same level of fuel you picked it up with. If the level of fuel is lower, you pay the difference at the rates of car rental company. If the level of fuel is higher, you are not compensated for the difference.
• If at drop off the car is too dirty to check condition before/after rent (including verification of scratches & dents), car wash is covered by customer.
• Rental cars are allowed to travel only on paved public roads.

• Driving off Road it’s not allowed , and comes with penalty: 300 Euro
• If you plan to travel outside the country, please notify the rental agent in advance to complete the required documents.

• The contact phone number you specified during booking must be available throughout the rental period and on the day before pick-up. We will not accept any service quality claims if it was impossible to contact you on your mobile phone.
• You pay fines and parking fees.
• Drivers must have at least 1 year driving experience at the time of rental and no older than 65 years old.  If you do not meet these requirements, the rental agent may refuse to provide a vehicle or add extra fee.
• Only small pets may travel in rented cars and should be kept in their travel carriers at all times.

 11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

TIA Rental reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notification to you.

12. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of ALBANIA.
